Rep. Wadsworth Visits Touchpoints at Farmington Care Center

Joined Witkos and LeGyt to discuss issues facing nursing homes.

State Rep. Bill Wadsworth (R-21) joined State Rep. Tim LeGeyt and State Senator Kevin Witkos Tuesday to tour Touchpoints at Farmington Care Center in Farmington.

The state legislators toured the 120 bed facility to meet with the managerial staff to discuss some of the general issues currently facing nursing homes throughout Connecticut. After the tour, Wadsworth, who serves on the Human Services Committee in the General Assembly, spoke highly about the level of care Touchpoints delivers to its patients.

“The state-of-the-art technology and skilled nursing that Touchpoints offers is truly outstanding.” said Wadsworth. “Most importantly, the comforting atmosphere of the facility creates a very relaxing and active environment where people who are in need of specialized care can feel at home.”
