The Town of Simsbury issued a community alert Friday warning residents of expected delays during a paving project on Route 10.
Paving on Route 10 (Hopmeadow Street) between Powder Forest Drive and Stratton Brook Road in Simsbury will begin on Monday, according to the alert.
The project is expected to take several days and will be operational between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. Route 10 will remain open during the paving project but delays are expected.
The Simsbury Police Department suggests commuters seek an alternate route this week.
