TELL US: Who Will Win The Vice Presidential Debate?

Mitt Romney got a big boost from his performance in last week's presidential debate - who do you think will come out on top when Republican Paul Ryan faces off against Democrat Joe Biden on Thursday?

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney saw a surge in his poll numbers after his performance in last week's debate against President Obama - the question now on everyone's mind is, will his running mate be able to do the same this week?

Pundits (and everyone else) pretty much agreed after last Thursday's debate on domestic issues that challenger Romney outperformed the president.

"The poll, conducted by Pew Research Center from Thursday through Sunday and released on Monday, shows Romney leading Obama among likely voters nationwide, 49 percent to 45 percent. That's a stark contrast from Pew's mid-September poll after both parties' conventions, which showed Obama up 8 points among likely voters," Yahoo News reports.

The two candidates' running mates - U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., and Vice President Joe Biden - will meet for their only debate Thursday. The debate will air on television from 9-10:30 p.m.The debate will be moderated by Martha Raddatz, Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent for ABC News. It will be held at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.

Analysts expect the two to mix it up more than their bosses did last week. Here's what to watch for, according to Reuters.

"Congressman Paul “The Kid” Ryan is light on his feet and knows how to dance around an answer if he has to. But don’t count out scrappy Vice-president Joe “The Gaffer” Biden, who can do rope-a-dope, better than anyone around. Look how he handled Sarah Palin four years ago," wrote Catherine Poe in the Washington Times.

Patch will have a live blog running on all our Connecticut sites Thursday night, and we will be conducting a flashpoll of political influencers afterwards.
