Updated Saturday Evening: From the Town of Farmington- Nov. 5

CL&P says 40 line, 15 tree crews in town today.

Update Saturday evening:

The Town met with CL & P representatives tonight and it is still expected that power will be restored dramatically throughout the evening.
Residents should be aware that if power is restored it may be brought down for up to five hours to energize the next section of the circuit. This is a normal occurrence while power restoration moves forward.
The National Guard continued to work with CL&P crews to help cut trees. The Town of Farmington crews and Town contractors continue to remove trees from roadways in order to facilitate CL&P’s on- going restoration of removing downed wires.

CL&P Contact Number
Residents should continue to report to CL&P remaining power outages. Do not assume that CL&P is aware of all individual residential outages. This is especially true when large sections of neighborhoods are restored and individual homes remain without service. Outages can be reported to CL&P at 800-286-2000.
