Zoning Commission to Discuss Subdivision, Training Tower, IAR Improvements

Town projects included in upcoming referendum on Monday agenda.

The Farmington Town Plan and Zoning Commission will meet April 29 to discuss several matters related to resident and town applications.

First, a public hearing will be held on Joe and Cathy Durrett’s application to build a three-lot subdivision at 293 Talcott Notch Road.

Under new business, Northeast Towers is scheduled to give an informal presentation on the possibility of building a training tower at 199 Brickyard Road.

Also, the commission will review an 8-24 referral on repairs for town roads and drainage systems as well as the proposed Irving A Robbins Middle School parking lot improvements. The parking lot improvements have been included as part of a bonding question for the voters to decide at the May 2 referendum. A $3 million bonding is also separately proposed to repair town roads and will be presented to voters on the upcoming referendum.

The rest of the agenda is attached.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall. The public is welcome to attend and speak on any matter.
