SERVPRO of The Farmington Valley Helps JCPenney in West Farms Mall
West Hartford, CT. May 16, 2013 -
Before daybreak Thursday, May 16, Dan Violante, owner of SERVPRO of the Farmington Valley, received a phone call from JCPenney in the West Farms Mall.
A faulty sprinkler system had soaked the interior of the 200,000 square foot store.
“It looked like rain, from the ceiling,” said Dan Tyrell of SERVPRO of the Farmington Valley.
SERVPRO went to work immediately, calling in backup from surrounding SERVPRO locations and started with inventory protection – covering items with plastic or moving them where possible.
Dozens of employees used equipment off eleven trucks to remove water before cleaning and deodorizing carpets and tiles.
By 2 p.m., Friday, May 17, cleanup was complete. JCPenney was back up and running, “Like it never even happened®”
