Esty, NASA Astronaut Bresnik Discuss Importance of STEM Education in Finding Jobs

Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty (D-5) and Col. Randolph Bresnik visited Farmington High School on Monday to promote STEM.

Col. Randolph Bresnik said that he was not always the best student growing up, but that his studies in math and sciences taught him the problem solving skills necessary to become a NASA astronaut. 

He and U.S. Rep. Elizabeth Esty (D-5) visited Farmington High School on Monday, Dec. 2 to talk to interested students about the importance of a STEM education in finding a career in the field. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math.
