Book Talk with Matthew Popkin, Owner of Matthew's Restaurant

As part of our Chefs and Books series, we are happy to welcome Matthew Popkin to the Farmington Library.

With a career in the Hospitality Industry that spans over 35 years, restaurateur Matthew Popkin feels he has brought something very special to the Farmington Valley area with his new restaurant “Matthew’s Restaurant”, his 28th opened so far.

“Waiter Rant: Thanks for the Tip--Confessions of a Cynical Waiter" by Steve Dublanica" is the subject of Matt Popkin's presentation.

Matthew was raised in the south and has worked in cities such as New Orleans, La., Winter Park Fl., Houston, Tx., Washington D.C. and the Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Farmington Library. It is free and open to the public and will take place at the main library at 6 Monteith Drive.
