Readings By The River

December's theme for Sunday readings at the Millrace Bookshop in Farmington is visiting Christmas past.

On Dec. 19, Wilson H. Faude, author of "Hidden History of Connecticut," which was just published, will share the unique stories of the Connecticut Christmas traditions described in his book. For 12 years Mr. Faude was chairman of the Connecticut Historical Society and currently serves as the archivist for the city of Hartford.

Mr.Faude's talk will be followed by book signing and refreshments.

Open-mic participants are encouraged to share their 'hidden stories' of Connecticut with Mr. Faude and guests.

Admission is $10.00 which may be applied to the book's purchase.
