FHS Musicians are busy performing and sharing their talents with community groups throughout Farmington in December.
The Jazz Combo under the direction of Thomas Johnston performed at Middlewoods on December 4. Residents enjoyed some toe-tapping Jazz tunes with improvisation in the ensemble and many solos.
The Treble Choir directed by Christen Hernandez performed for preschoolers and young families at the Annual Tree Trimming Party at the Farmington Public Library on December 4.
The Madrigal Singers were featured at the FESTIVAL of TREES at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum in Hartford on December 5. Additionally, the Madrigal Singers will perform for the Rotary Club on December 11 for the Annual Senior Citizen luncheon at Tunxis Plantation Golf Club.
More community events in December involve the Farmington Exchange Club, the Farmington Senior Center, and the Wood Library in South Windsor.
