Farmington High School Musicians Perform at State Capitol

Rep. Mike Demicco invited the students for Flag Day.

The Farmington High School Chamber Singers performed at the State Capitol.   Representative Mike Demicco invited the group to perform at the Capitol for Flag Day, June 14th.

The students performed a program that included multicultural, patriotic music and a dedicated piece for Sandy Hook. After the performance, Governor Malloy addressed them. Throughout the performance, the students were addressed by Senators Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal and Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman.

Representative Demicco gave the students tours and lessons in civics.
