Students and staff of the Farmington Public School District will have their unexpected long weekend extended by one more day.
The school district announced the decision to close Monday in alerts to parents Sunday afternoon and on the district's website:
Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 11, 2013 due to the impact of the Blizzard of 2013.
EXCL will be open at the regular time at Noah Wallace School.
The Farmington Board of Education will meet as scheduled for a regular meeting and to review the 2013-14 budget. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. in the Farmington High School library. Read a description of the meeting here.
