Farmington Public Schools Have Two-Hour Delayed Opening

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect, and snow has made roads in town and throughout the area very slippery.

The Superintendent's office has announced that Farmington Public Schools will open two hours late today, Thursday, Nov. 8.

Morning kindergarten will be canceled and EXCL will open as usual. 

Farmington is also under a parking ban that last until noon today.

The snow that fell Wednesday and overnight from the nor'easter is expected to turn to rain later Thursday with high temperatures around 43°, according to AccuWeather.com. Light snow continued to fall early Thursday morning, and a winter weather advisory is forecast to remain in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday.
