Farmington students will go to school the first day back from winter vacation in the New Year, but the district announced there will be an early dismissal Thursday.
Afternoon kindergarten and preschool at Farmington Public Schools is canceled Jan. 2.
After school activities are also canceled, as well as Farmington Continuing Education classes.
The early dismissal times are:
Farmington High School: 12:23 p.m.
Irving A. Robbins Middle School: 12:31 p.m.
West Woods Upper Elementary School: 1:15 p.m.
Elementary schools including East Farms, Noah Wallace, West District and Union: 1:15 p.m. (Morning kindergarten is also dismissed at 1:15).
