With three snow days to date, April vacation for Farmington schools remains unscathed so far.
Farmington builds five make-up days into its approved school calendar in the event of possible school cancellations due to weather. The make-up days are on 12,13,16,17 and 18. Should Farmington's snow days surpass five, additional make up days would come out of April vacation, starting on Monday, April 14.
Farmington's April vacation is scheduled for April 14-18 and the winter recess is Feb. 17-21.

However, the board can also change its adopted school calendar in an emergency upon Superintendent Kathleen Greider's recommendation, according to school officials.
