Farmington Superintendent Gives School Calendar Update

Superintendent Kathleen Greider sent a letter Friday to parents with the updated schedule for this year.

Dear Parents, Families and Faculty:

I hope that this communication finds you well.  In light of the six school days missed due to inclement weather, the following adjustments have been made to the 2012-2013 school calendar:

  • The last day of school for students for the 2012-2013 school year is Thursday, June 27.  This will be a half day.
  • As per our Calendar Policy, any additional snow days will be taken from April vacation beginning Monday, April 15, 2013.  At this time, April vacation has not been disrupted; however, if we have any additional snow days, we will use April vacation days as make-up days.

As a reminder, March 18 is a regular school day.  We are using this day as one of our make-up days.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this winter season of difficult weather.

Sincerely,

Kathleen C. Greider
Superintendent of Schools
