Fox Anchor to Keynote Tunxis Conference

Public invited to “How the Smart Money Succeeds” with Liz Claman, Fox Business Network anchor.

Tunxis Community College Foundation invites the public to “How the Smart Money Succeeds,” with Liz Claman, Fox Business Network anchor, on October 1, from 7:30-9:15 a.m. at Farmington Gardens in Farmington.

Proceeds from the fundraising breakfast will support student scholarships and special projects at Tunxis Community College.

Liz Claman will share insights she has gained from interviewing business world superstars. Claman, who joined Fox Business Network (FBN) in 2007, anchors “Countdown to the Closing Bell” and co-anchors “After the Bell.” Throughout her tenure at FBN, Claman has conducted exclusive interviews with Berkshire Hathaway CEO and legendary investor Warren Buffet, Intel CEO Paul Otellini, Ford CEO Alan Mulally, Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt, and U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. Prior to joining FBN, Claman interviewed major financial newsmakers as an anchor at CNBC, most recently anchoring “Morning Call” and “Cover to Cover.” She also anchored “Wake Up Call,” “Market Watch,” and “Today’s Business.”
