Man Accused of Threatening Neighbor Via Text

Robert Knight, 28, of 60 Mill St., Unionville, was arrested by warrant June 17 at home and charged with second-degree harassment. According to police, Knight is accused of sending threatening text messages to a neighbor. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 27, 2012.

Hilary Jacobs Winiarski, 20, of 28 Hartland Road, West Granby, was arrested June 17 at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Forest Park Drive and charged with failure to have headlights lit and operating under the influence under age 21. She. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jun 27, 2012.

Ediburgo Leon Torres, 41,  of 68 Cannon Road, East Hartford, was arrested Jun 16 at Westfarms mall and charged with second-degree breach of peace, sixth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device. He was accused of shoplifting and released on $5,000 surety. He is scheduled to appear June 27, 2012.

Beverlyn James, 57, of 20 Benton St., Hartford, was arrested June 16 at Westfarms mall and was charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June June 27, 2012.
