‘Papagayo’ by Union School Students and Artist Anne Cubberly

On May 12, 2012, Union School students performed Papagayo, a puppet show accompanied by live music performed by students, in an all-school assembly.  The Union School Parent Teacher Organization paid for the partnership with artist Anne Cubberly as a cultural enrichment activity for the school. Every Union School student helped to make the puppets and sets, acted or played the xylophones during the performance. The story is from “Papagayo: The Mischief Maker” by Gerald McDermott.
