West District's Annual Craft Fair is Today

Meet Santa, decorate cupcakes, and peruse the offerings of 46 vendors.

Stop in at 's 33rd annual Craft Fair today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to get in the holiday spirit and help out the school.

The school's gym will be filled with 46 vendors from around the area selling crafts, candles, scarves, bags and plenty of potential Christmas presents.

Themed gift baskets (from storm survival kits to gardening packages to a Home Depot basket) are offered up at the sweepstakes table and will be raffled off. Some were created by West District classes and others donated by vendors.

Santa Claus will visit with children, who can write letters and put them in Santa's mailbox and also make reindeer food.

Across the hall a cupcake room is filled with dozens of cupcakes, tubs of frosting and decorating supplies. Cupcakes are 50 cents.

The fourth grade has also been baking and will be selling various treats to help fund class activities.
