West Woods to Host Youth Art Celebration

Show celebrates exemplary children's work, chosen by art teachers from around the state.

The Connecticut Art Education Association's annual art show, celebrating National Youth Art Month, will this year be held at West Woods Upper Elementary School.

Art teachers from around the state of Connecticut submit five exemplary pieces of student art work for display in the show, which is open to members only. The purpose of the show is to celebrate children's art, advocate for art education, and bring to light the result of exceptional artistic skills and creativity taught throughout the State of Connecticut by members of the CAEA.

The work submitted includes kindergarten through high school-level art.
