Valentine's Day Made Special for Seniors

Pat Robotham and Diane Clerkin are board members and devoted volunteers for Services for the Elderly of Farmington, who joined several other board members and put together lovely Valentine’s Day-themed treats  for Farmington seniors.  Not for the first time, the Farmington Community Chest generously donated funds earmarked to reach out to Farmington seniors with a thoughtful little seasonal gift.

Valentine’s Day cards were made by Union School fourth graders and the students in the Kid's Care Club at West Woods made personal valentines and packaged a thoughtful snack for the Seniors.  Volunteers from Services for the Elderly distributed these cards and Valentine treats to the Farmington Seniors. Services for the Elderly is a non-profit volunteer agency providing valuable programs and services to Farmington’s senior citizens. It is funded by the United Way, the Town of Farmington, local service organizations, churches, businesses and private donations.
