Rotary Club of Farmington in Partnership With The Farmington Valley Trails Council Will Dedicate New Pavilion

The newly completed "Rails-To-Trails" pavilion located at the intersection of New Britain Ave. and Coppermine Rd. will be opened for public use in a ribbon-cutting ceremony. On hand will be Mike Clark, Farmington Town Council Chair and representatives of numerous local organizations who supported Rotary members and community volunteers with the construction of the pavilion.This is the second pavilion constructed by the Rotary Club on the trail system in Farmington providing shelter for users on bikes or on foot. Steve Wasley, president of the Rotary Club of Farmington said: "Rotary is very pleased to partner with the Farmington Valley Trails Council in building these pavilions. We want to thank all the hard working volunteers who made these projects possible and especially thank local businesses for their donations led by a generous gift from Farmington Bank. Parking is available in the recently completed lot next to the trail.The Rotary Club of Farmington with 62 members supports many local and international projects improving the lives of citizens across the globe.
