Farmington 9/10-Year-Old District Team Advances to CT Semi-finals
The Farmington team beat Beacon Falls 15-2 on Sunday.
Powered by a 12-run first inning, the Farmington U10 District Team beat Beacon Falls 15-2 to win the Division 2 championship on Sunday.
They now advance to state semi-finals on Wednesday. The game will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 23 against the Division 1 champion - Fairfield National.
The semifinal game will be held at Memorial Park on Plank Hill Road in Simsbury.
The winner of this game advances to the state finals next weekend, which is a best 2 out of 3 series.
