Farmington Field Hockey Plays for Pink

Girls raise funds, awareness during Friday night game.

Farmington High School Field Hockey took a crack at breast cancer Friday night by playing for pink. The girls donned pink socks and shirts reading 'The Just B Cancer Free Foundation' while selling pink goodies to support the foundation.

The girls won their game at home against Northwest Catholic, giving them a record of 10 wins and one loss. The team is ranked second in goals scored and shutouts, according to the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference rankings.

If you got some good shots of the game, please add them to our gallery.
