The Farmington girl’s volleyball team is off to another exciting start!
With 8 seniors graduating this past June, what originally looked to be a rebuilding year is turning out to be a surprisingly impressive team with solid underclassmen working alongside the 5 returning seniors. With a record of 3-0 going into Wednesday’s game against Newington, the team did not disappoint. The first game was won on front row strength with a score of 25 -11. The second was dependent upon good serving and went to Farmington 25-8. The third was a bit closer, but Farmington still swept with a score of 25-17.
The girls travel to Southington this Friday, Sept, 21 to take on the Blue Knights in what has traditionally been a major test of skills and endurance! Come out and support the girls!
