The girls had a number of reasons to celebrate Wednesday night. The team finished their regular season with an impressive record of 16-2 by winning over rival Avon, won the CCC West title and honored their seniors. Farmington won 3 games to none with strong showings in all three games, with scores of 25-19, 25-21 and 25-20. Their record assures them of at least a share of the CCC West title, as other teams still have games to play.
The team recognized the contributions of their seniors, Kami Drezek, Alex Duffy, Liz Friedland, Heather Haggerty and Sally Kaplan.
Next up for Farmington is the CCC Tournament and then the State Tournament. Dates and times are to be determined.
