FHS Tribe Rolls Over Bristol Central

Farmington High School football takes on Windsor Friday, Oct. 25.

The Tribe welcomed the Bristol Eastern Lancers a day early on Thursday and proceeded to roll to an impressive 42 - 3 victory. 

Junior running back Ivan Guadalupe rushed the ball for 162 yards and two touchdowns as he led the offensive attack on the Lancers.  Junior Kenny Jones completed seven of nine pass attempts for a total of 214 yards and an impressive 78% completion rate.  Jones connected with Anthony Carpenter three times for 134 yards and two touchdowns.  Seniors  Tyler Chaia and Mitch Berlandy also shared in the scoring with one touchdown each. 

Defensively the "line" held the Lancers to just three points.  Berlandy led the way with fourteen tackles.  Seniors Tom Stevens and Branden Marquis each had 10 tackles.  Stevens had five tackles for loss.  Junior Colin Grattan contributed to the defensive cause with ten tackles.  Senior safety George Sticca helped to shut down the Lancers with an interception in the fourth quarter!

The Indians remain undefeated on the season with a 6-0 record!  They travel to Windsor on Friday October 26 @7:00pm  Come out and support the team!
