It's Batting Practice with Red Sox for Miracle League of CT Team
League allows children with special needs to play baseball with their peers.
On Monday June 25, the Miracle League of Connecticut Challenger team was treated to a fun-filled day in Fenway Park. Team members are from West Hartford and the Farmington valley.
The day was sponsored by CVS Caremark All Kids Can, a program of the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust and supported by CVS Caremark and the Red Sox.
The players were treated to a batting practice with Red Sox batting Coach Dave Magadan (pictured with the players), lunch, a tour of Fenway park, pre-game batting practice, and the game in the evening.
