The Farmington Wrestling team led all teams at the CIAC Class L meet with 10 placewinners and finished 3rd overall as a team with 173.5 points just 5 points away from runner-up New Milford.
Leading the way for the Indians in 3rd place at 285lbs was Brandon Marquis. Eric Suhre, Mason Yancey, Harry Pacheco and Tom Stevens placed 4th. Ryan Rigney, Garrett Hastings, Tim Orrell, Michael Berlandy were 5th and James Paigo finished 6th.
Eventual Team Champion Hand HS had the next most placewinners with 9. Farmington's 10 is the most state meet placewinners ever for their school.
