Avon resident Mike Golic talks a lot about the NFL at ESPN.

But when he announced one of the newest players to the Pittsburgh Steelers roster on ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike in the Morning in April, it was a particularly special moment for him.

The Steelers signed his son, Mike Golic Jr. as a free agent on April 27. Now Golic Jr. is a month into training camp, following in the footsteps of his father and uncle, Bob Golic, who both had extensive NFL careers.
