Farmington Food Pantry

Farmington Food Pantry - Where can I drop off food & what is really needed now?

Do you know where food can be dropped off for the food pantry? There are many places you can do so:

*Non-perishable food can be dropped off at the food pantry (Amistad Hall in the First Church of Christ Congregational) from 9:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday. Boxes are located inside the front door of Amistad Hall & outside the food pantry entrance on the lower level.

*Donations are also accepted at Stop & Shop in Unionville, the Senior Center(on New Britain Ave.) & The Staples House (located in the main library parking lot ).

Right after I send this blog out with the list of items they are very short on right now...I will be sending the same list out to several parents, whom are the parents of my soon to be 8 year old son's friends. My son has decided that instead of gifts this year, he'd like his friends to bring food for the Farmington Food Pantry! Words can't say how proud I am. My daughter did the same thing last year when she turned 9. She was so excited to go to the food pantry and stock it herself (with the help of her brothers of course!).

Ok..so here is the list. If you can drop off some of these items, it is greatly appreciated!
