If we only Regionalized, the murder rate in Hartford would look sooo much better!
According to The Hartford Courant, the solution to most of the issues facing the state is to Regionalize, do away with local control, empower the state's poorest Democrat voting cities to set the agenda for local governance, and massively redistribute suburban [mostly Republican voting] taxes to address the wants [oops should have said needs] of "disadvantage" urban populations [by the way who is disadvantaging them, certainly not I - but I digress already].
WRONG!
Wrong in so many ways. The latest is the Courant's assertion that Hartford would at least "appear" safer [if not actually be safer] if the FBI would only Regionalized the state's crime statistics. You read it correctly, all we need do is Regionalize the accounting for crime and SHAZAM Hartford is again New England's Rising Star. Just add the population and to be fair the crime for the Farmington Valley into Hartford's numbers and BINGO Hartford doesn't look so bad! After all to Progressives and Collectivists:
- What counts is the number of murders per capita! Not the actual people who are murdered.
- What counts is the perception of CT's cities as bastions of Progressive policy implementation and social experiments [mostly failed] not the people who live in fear of random violence.
- What counts is how the FBI counts the problem not the problem itself!
- What counts is that the people who live in these cities continue to believe the Progressive and Collectivist propaganda that they are victims so the PTB can only change the way the numbers look not actually fix the problems, and
- What counts most is perpetuating the myths that they are blameless and that the CT Democrat party is the way FORWARD!
In the main, CT's largest cities are cesspools of corruption, mismanagement and failed Progressive social policy. In true Collectivist fashion the answer to every problem is always the same, TAKE FROM THE MAKERS AND GIVE TO THE TAKERS in the name of social justice and collective salvations.
So lets change the way we count a few other items and soon Hartford will be a shining city on a hill.
- the rate of teenage pregnancies and births.
- the rate of abortions.
- the rate of single parent head of households.
- the number of illegal aliens.
- the rate of high school graduations.
- the proficiency of high school graduates in reading, writing and math [quickest way to eliminate one of the "achievement gaps" but then you couldn't increase spending].
- the number of high school graduates going on to postsecondary education.
- the employment rate.
- the crime rate [if Farmington could dump the Mall's stats we would be so much safer oops we can't do that one but the cities can]
Governor Mao Loy, the Collectivists and Redistributionist in the CGA, and the editorial staff at the Hartford Courant all favor Collectivization [oops should have said Regionalization]. Why? Because there is still too much control over local spending, unionized municipal employees, taxes, schools, land use, transportation, zoning and building codes, water use, and sanitation at the local level where Sovereign Citizens, Teabaggers, Patriots, non-ideological people who can balance a budget, and people who have a moticum of common sense have a greater impact.
Mail in ballots, elimination of proof of citizenship at voter registration, driver licenses for illegal aliens, failing to require audits of voter rolls, photocopies ballots, etc allow for only so much fraud [oops should have said CREATIVE ACCOUNTING] after all if the deity or demons of your choice did not want the Collectivists in power, why would she / he have given Bridgeport copiers and the SHEEPLE such mindlessness?
