Transparency, open government, freedom of information, the "right" to know, well only when the Progressive / Socialist elites who control the Collective [oops should have said the duly electeds who serve in the Connecticut General Assembly as representatives of the Sovereign Citizens] determine what the Sheeple should be allowed to hear, see, read, talk about, or know.
It is difficult to say what I find more shameful 1) The fact that these self appointed NANNIES think that they have the judgement, the power, the authority to determine what information I may consume or 2) that their lack of intestinal fortitude or hubris requires / sanctions that they attempt to impose limits on the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION in SECRET. What is next, the state police demanding and obtaining the phone records of Pravda's reporters and editors [oops meant to say Russia Today, darn third time's a charm The Hartford Courant]. After all according to the Obama Administration reporters, editors, and publishers are criminal co-conspirator if they engage in speech that is against the Collective but I digress back to the future - 1984! On careful consideration I believe it is the later. When the PTB know that a few of the not totally pacified Sheeple would have an issue with their proposed restrictions on the peoples "Right to Know", you do it in secret After all you are only trying to protect feelings and give conspiracy theorist something more to talk about!
When you allow the government to become too large and too intrusive this is what you get! You may say NBD its is only a few gruesome pictures and some audio recordings, until one day something you care about or you yourself are called to defend your actions which are deemed by the Collective to be "reactionary" or "counter revolutionary". If so you [and maybe your family] will be the lucky winners of an all expense paid trip along the Trail of Tear to the newly re-opened reeducation spa at Manzanar or one of the many other re-tasked "Civilian Assembly Centers", "Relocation Centers", "Justice Department Detention Camps", "Citizen Isolation Centers", or "US Army facilities" all actually existed at one time. If has happened before in the United States of America and it can happen again that is way they call it the slippery slope.
