Beat the Holiday Bulge

Stay Slim during the Holiday Season and Eat the Foods You Like.

You know the average Americans gain about 7lbs. from Halloween to New Years Eve.  Well, there is a way to prevent that from happening.  First answer is exercise, burn more calories than you take in.  OK, exercise is not going to happen then follow these rules to gain less weight.  When you are face to face at the buffett table during a holiday party start with the meats and green vegetables on you plate first.  Second go for the potatos and yams and lastly the stuffing, breads and sweets.  The idea is to load up on foods that will not create the buldge and you'll have less room in your stomach for the foods that will make you gain weight easier.  Try it!  Your waistline will thank you for it.

Very tight game by two super teams and played at least 80% on the Southbury half with 10 goalRead More attempts by Farmington. Their goalie was incredible. Unfortunately, close to the game's end, Farmington ran out of gas and they lost by 1 goal. Congratulations to Southington's soccer team for beating a great Farmington team!!!!!!!
