General surgeon joins UConn Health

Dr. Yu Liang is a general surgeon who recently joined the faculty at UConn Health. She is accepting new patients in Farmington and Storrs Center.

Liang performs general surgery including hernia, abdominal, gall bladder, colon and rectal surgery. She recently performed the first robotic general surgery at UConn Health.

Liang received her bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley and her medical degree from the University of California Irvine School of Medicine. She performed her internship and residency in surgery at UConn.
