New UConn Health garage open to public Monday Jan. 6

If you have business on the UConn Health Center's lower campus, this important parking update is for you!

Starting Monday, Jan. 6, our new Garage 1 will be open to patients and visitors of the Medical Arts and Research Building (MARB) on the lower campus.

This free parking will replace the valet service that had been in place during construction.

Garage 1 provides convenient access to the Farmington Surgery Center on Level 2, and a covered pedestrian bridge on Level 3 leads right into the clinical area on the third floor of the MARB. Patients and visitors should enter Garage 1 by way of Circle Road, which is the first left after entering the UConn Health Center campus from Route 4/Farmington Avenue. Additional signage will direct patients and visitors to Garage 1, and to designated parking areas once inside.

Free valet service remains available to patients and visitors of the main building, including John Dempsey Hospital.

If you really want to learn more about this garage, here's what I wrote about it in November.
