Now open: Garage 1

The new 1,400-plus-space garage that's part of the Bioscience Connecticut construction projects is done after only nine months. This will bring great relief to the parking crunch that's been a (necessary) byproduct of all the construction on our campus.

By the end of the month we'll have terminated leases for more than 400 off-site spaces where employees have been parking, with the shuttle service to those remote lots redeployed to provide continuous express service from the new garage to the main building.

Patients with appointments at the MARB (the building on lower campus housing our orthopedics, rheumatology, neurology, physical therapy) will be able to start parking in the garage within the next few weeks, and we'll keep the free valet services going until early next year.
