Sonar of the Hartford Wolf Pack Visits Union School

On January 22, Sonar the Hartford Wolf Pack mascot and a representative from the Hartford Wolf Pack visited the school to talk about Union School going to the Saturday, February 1 game at the XL Center.  Sonar received a very warm welcome!

This event is sold out, and the Wolf Pack expects a huge crowd on Saturday.  $5 for every $13 ticket sold goes back to Union School.

Union School students are invited to sing after the first period, and will be on the Jumbotron.

During his visit Sonar and the Wolf Pack talked about their new program Read to the Rink.  Each child will receive a book mark in the next week and after they read a book should record the title on the back of their bookmark.  After they have completed 5 books they just have to bring the bookmark into school for their teacher to sign and then they can bring the bookmark to the Hartford Wolf Pack box office to receive one free ticket to any upcoming home game through April 19th (not valid for Union School night on Feb 1st).
