The Union School Extended Care and Learning (EXCL) program creates an annual Kids Gives Back project. This school year, students at Union School’s EXCL raised $407 which was donated to the Town of Farmington's project to build a Live Fire Training Facility. One of our raffle prizes was a ride to school on a fire truck, generously donated by Tunxis Hose Company #1. Second grader Brooke Eselunas won this raffle prize and invited her sister, Abby, also in second grade, to join her. Brooke and Abby decided to enjoy the firetruck ride to school on their eighth birthday!
Thank you, as always, to our friends at Tunxis Hose Company #1.
