Exchange Club of Farmington Honors David Eveleth

Longtime community volunteer recognized with Book of Golden Deeds award.

The Exchange Club of Farmington honored David Eveleth, the 2012 recipient of the Book of Golden Deeds at a dinner at the Country Club of Farmington April 12, 2012.

Evelth was selected for his dedication to making the Farmington community a better place to live for over 60 years. Golden deeds Committee Chair Beatrice Stockwell cited his many contributions, including member and Past President of both the Farmington Rotary Club and The Farmington Land Trust, and member of the Farmington Board of Education and the High School Building Committee.

The donation of his time and expertise as an architect toward the design and construction of two pavilions on the “Rails to Trails” project at Coppermine Road and River Road and two foot bridges over the farmington River were also acknowledged.

Eveleth was presented citations from the Town of farmington, the State of Connecticut General Assembly and the office of Connecticut Governor Dannell Malloy.
