Every three years the Junior League of Hartford takes over a unique home or estate in the Greater Hartford area, selects regional designers to decorate the interior spaces and landscape the surrounding grounds, and sells tickets to the public for viewing of the completed house. The Junior League of Hartford has held 11 Decorator Show Houses over a 33-year span, and raised more than $1.35 million for its programs and projects.
The Decorator Show House is the League’s largest event-based fundraiser. Proceeds from the Show House are used to fund its community projects and programs, which currently focus on the alleviation of hunger.
