Four members were presented with Paul Harris Fellowship Awards at the Rotary Club of Farmington’s Annual Dinner in June. This prestigious award, named after the founder of Rotary, is given annually to members of their club who have made exceptional contributions to their community and mankind.
This year’s recipients included Dave Barrett, Mecheal Hamilton, Doug Kartsen and Elizabeth Sheridan. The club contributes $1,000.00 in the name of each recipient to the Rotary Foundation, which underwrites many programs that build goodwill and understanding throughout the world.
The Rotary Club of Farmington is a non-profit service organization. Involved in a variety of projects in the local area, the organization provides support through service and giving to Farmington students and other charitable, humanitarian and community organizations.
