Mike Clark Endorses Bill Baker for Board of Education

As we approach Election Day 2013, many of you are beginning to focus in on the candidates who will be responsible for our Town and schools.  One of those candidates is William Baker, who is running for a position on the Farmington Board of Education.  Bill’s resume is quite impressive, as he holds an MBA from UCONN and has been employed in finance related positions throughout his professional career.  This is a key skill set that Bill will put to good use on the BOE.  Bill has also served his country with honor and distinction.  He is a captain in the United States Army, and has protected our freedom during two deployments in support of the Global War on Terror.

Bill is an outstanding candidate, as his commitment to our community runs wide and deep.  In addition to his service to our country, he has volunteered in numerous organizations at the grass roots level.  He is member of the Farmington Exchange Club service organization, is post commander of the Farmington Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars, has volunteered as a soccer coach, and been involved in Farmington High School booster clubs.  He is well known for his active participation in many of the Unionville community organizations that have worked to shape our thriving community.  In short, he has proven to be an outstanding and involved public servant.

It is with great pleasure that I offer my strongest endorsement of Bill Baker to represent the citizens of Farmington as a member of the Board of Education.  He will be receiving my vote on Tuesday, November 5th.  I hope you will join me in casting your ballot for him as well!
