Nancy Nickerson gets support from Mike Clark

Dear friends,

I would be impressed with Nancy Nickerson as a candidate for the position of Town Council Chair if all I knew of her was that she had served the Town of Farmington for over 20 years as an elected official with the Board of Education and the Town Council.  Add to this service the fact that she has been involved with many organizations outside of politics, such as the Food Pantry, Services for the Elderly, the Historical Society and the Barney Library.  Then add to the mix that she has three children who all graduated from FHS, whom she supported with booster clubs , athletics, and fundraisers.  This alone would earn my vote.

However, having known Nancy as a friend for over ten years, I know her as a person who loves our Town.  I challenge you to find anyone who has given back to the community as much as Nancy has.  She truly embodies the term public servant.  I also know Nancy as a woman who is caring, compassionate, has great integrity, and maintains an unmatched energy to lead Farmington into the future.  I know that my wife Sue and I will be voting for Nancy on Election Day, and I encourage all voters in Farmington to do the same.
