Shawn Curtis for Board of Education

Shawn has called Farmington ‘home’ for the last 14 years.  He has served as a volunteer firefighter at East Farmington Fire Department and now with Farmington Fire Department.  His wife Jordyn and daughter Jillian, 2, moved to the West District neighborhood in May 2012.  Shawn earned a B.S. in Management from Keene State College and, during that time, served as a Trustee to the University System of New Hampshire.

Shawn has been recognized state-wide as a Hartford Business Journal “40 Under 40” award winner.  He served as a Little League Coach for Farmington Youth Baseball in 2002 and 2005, and was recently a Board Member and Steward for the Farmington Land Trust.  Shawn was recently awarded the 2013 Alumni Inspiration Award from Keene State College.  He has 14 years of marketing and product development experience, and currently works as a Marketing Director for The LEGO Group, focused on the LEGOLAND Resorts and Discovery Centers.

Shawn will bring great perspective, thought and enthusiasm to the Farmington Board of Education.
