The Board of Education meets the Firehouse--Everyone wins!

With Nancy Nickerson leading the charge for Chair of the Farmington Town Council, she is joined in the First District by two exceedingly able running mates, Jon Landry and Peter Mastrobattista.  When one speaks of these two gentlemen the phrases “In the trenches” and “Where the rubber meets the road” come to mind.  Jon has served for the last four years on our Board of Education which comprises the largest portion of the Town’s budget.  To say that he understands the challenges the Council faces from a fiscal perspective is an understatement.  He knows the importance of maintaining our premier educational system and how to fund it efficiently—without waste.  Peter comes to the task with years in a leadership position on our Volunteer Fire Department where maintaining a ready and able fire service is done with intelligent and well considered funding to replace equipment and train our firemen.  Peter also runs a family manufacturing business and knows what it means to pay the bills and budget for the future.

Farmington is fortunate to have these two capable gentlemen step forward to donate their time to our service—yet again.  Let’s not squander this gift.  Come out on November 5th and support them with your vote.
