Town Council Member C.J. Thomas endorses Shawn Curtis

I am whole-heartedly endorsing Shawn Curtis for a position on the Board of Education in this year’s election. Shawn is a fresh new face in local politics, but no newcomer to public service. 

Shawn has served on the Board of Trustees for the University System of New Hampshire, has been a respected part of the Town of Farmington volunteer fire department for the past fourteen years, is a past member of the Farmington Land Trust, has coached Farmington Youth Baseball, and has been a member of the Farmington Exchange Club.

Currently, Shawn is a marketing director for the LEGO Group, and prior to that he held a similar position with the Stanley Works. Shawn has an ability to bring people and teams together and brings fresh perspectives and an innovative approach to his work.  This coupled with his organizational skills will be a tremendous asset to the Board of Education.

With a daughter not quite in the Farmington school system, Shawn has great incentive to help insure our schools continue on as award winners both state and nation wide.
