Baker, Curtis and Blore-- Your team for the Board of Education

The Republican Town Committee has assembled an exemplary slate of candidates for the board of education.  These three gentlemen embody the past, present and future of the Farmington Public Schools.  Bill Baker’s children recently graduated from Farmington High School after passing through Noah Wallace, Westwoods Upper Elementary School and Irving A. Robbins Middle School.  Bill and his wife Joy watched their children participate in a variety of activities including multiple varsity sports teams at FHS.  No one has more relevant recent experience with our school system than Bill Baker.  Bill’s running mate, Mark Blore, has two boys at East Farms and is keenly aware of the programs offered at the elementary level and is eager to support our schools to maintain the standard of excellence Farmington families deserve.  Mark’s wife Kristin is an 8th grade teacher in Tolland and both are fully invested in making our schools the best possible places to learn.  Last, but most definitely not least, is Shawn Curtis, who, with his wife Jordyn, have their gaze fixed on West District School for their daughter Jillian, both literally and figuratively—they live across the street from the school and Jillian is two.  Shawn is committed to the future of Farmington Schools for both Jillian and the rest of our residents with children almost ready to enter the school system.

This trio is ready, willing and able to serve the children of the town of Farmington and all they need to accomplish this goal is your vote on November 5th.
