<p>The Farmington Historical Society, founded in 1954, is the keeper of Farmington's history and works to keep it alive by educating others.</p> <p>Housed in the Gridley-Case cottages in Farmington Village, the society hosts lectures, exhibits, events and tours of the Underground Railroad and local sites related to the Amistad.</p> <p>To find out about the town's rich heritage in the abolitionist movement, women's rights or the town's fathers, the Farmington Historical Society has the answers and is happy to share.</p>
